Feliks idly tapped a talon on the stones beneath his feet. It was early morning, and the familiar tune of song birds fluttered on the wind, filling the remaining silence. Feliks glanced to the rooftops, the sun’s rays just peering over the top of them. His eyebrows dipped, arcing downwards, almost wrapping themselves around the back of his neck. His tapping came to a stop when the sound of the shop door being unlocked came to his ears. He took a step back, raising his right foot once stopped, curling his toes, as if holding onto something.
